FAQ
Where do the numbers come from?
From the German Federal Ministry of Finance's official "Programmablaufplan" (payroll-tax algorithm) — the same method payroll software uses. The calculation engine runs that algorithm directly instead of re-implementing it.
Why does my payslip differ slightly?
Usually due to individual allowances, a mid-year employer change, or employer levies this calculator omits (U1/U2, trade association). Benefits in kind, company pension conversions and pension income can be entered in the form.
